You do not need to be a member of SME or UCA to submit an abstract.
Abstracts for consideration are due June 30, 2022.
You may submit an abstract for presentation as long as you reference the original conference or publication in your presentation. You may not submit a manuscript if you have signed a copyright with another organization.
We ask that you keep your abstract to 100 words.
Manuscripts should not exceed 10 pages.
You must complete a copyright release submission for RETC 2023 or your name will be pulled from the manuscript. The release is part of final manuscript submission and is done electronically.
All requests to withdraw must be submitted by email to Tara Davis, davis@smenet.org or Raven Refuerzo, refuerzo@smenet.org. It is also helpful to inform your session chair of your withdraw.
SME does not cover travel expenses or registration costs for presenters.
Abstracts will be available for review online in March 2023.
Yes, all presenters are expected to register and pay for the conference. SME does offer a discounted speaker rate.
An email will be sent to the email address listed for the primary author. If someone else submitted the abstract for you and used their email address they will receive the confirmation.
No, each submission must be done separately.
